Dr Chan graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004. She received numerous academic awards throughout her training and she was constantly on the Dean's List throughout the years of studies. In the final year examinations, she won the IFDEA Gold Medal and the University Silver Medal for being the Best Student in the Final BDS Professional Examination.
Post graduation, she took the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Primary Examination and achieved full commendations for all the subjects. She went on to obtain her Master of Dental Surgery in Orthodontics from NUS as well as the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She specialises in braces (orthodontic) treatment for both children and adults especially in alignment of shifted teeth due to periodontal disease
Dr Chan is a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore). She is a Fellow of the Academy Of Medicine of Singapore and is a registered Dental Specialist in Orthodontics with the Singapore Dental Council.
