Dr Constantinos Anastassiades is Founder and Director and Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at ELEVATE Gastroenterology, the pioneer gastroenterology practice at Camden Medical Centre.

He stands out as a fully US-trained gastroenterology specialist in Singapore, having completed his specialist training at Mayo Clinic and the University of Michigan, both renowned medical institutions routinely featured in the U.S. News Best Hospitals Honor Roll.

His educational journey began at University College London (UCL) Medical School, followed by successful completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations and certification by the US Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). He then pursued specialist training at Mayo Clinic and the University of Michigan, becoming board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr Constantinos held positions as the Michael Sivak Jr. Fellow in Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Research, and later as Assistant Professor of Medicine, Attending Physician and Consultant Gastroenterologist at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, where he honed his skills in advanced and therapeutic endoscopy.

He has been a prolific contributor to gastrointestinal endoscopy, presenting his academic and research work at numerous national and international conferences. He serves as a reviewer for prestigious international medical journals, has authored a book chapter, and published several journal articles. His expertise has led to invitations as faculty at endoscopy courses organized by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and various national and international meetings.

In 2014, Dr Constantinos relocated to Singapore, where he served as Head of the Division of Gastroenterology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and later as Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at National University Hospital (NUH). During his tenure, he initiated initiatives to enhance local manpower and elevate clinical and endoscopic skillsets in the public healthcare sector.

Throughout his career, Dr Constantinos has earned numerous professional distinctions and awards, including Fellowships from prestigious organizations such as the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Royal College of Physicians of London, and the Singapore Academy of Medicine.

Outside medicine, Dr Constantinos is passionate about languages, history, and cultures. Among other languages, he has studied and passed exams in Mandarin Chinese, achieving conversational and intermediate proficiency.
