Kim qualified as a Physiotherapist in South Africa in 1998, with a first class pass in a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town. After running her own Physiotherapy practice in Cape Town for 12 years , she relocated, with her family, to Singapore. She has always has a special interest in low back and pelvic pain, and has worked predominantly in this area for over 20 years, doing many post graduate training courses in this area.
She has completed several courses in the USA from Michigan State University’s school of Osteopathy. She uses Osteopathic Muscle Energy Techniques for rehabilitation and adjustment of the spine and sacrum, and has a special interest in pregnancy and post-partum pelvic girdle pain. Kim also enjoys using manual medicine techniques for Headaches, Jaw Pain, Neck Pain and Stiffness, and Tinnitus. She has also trained as a Cranio-Sacral therapist with John Upledger from the UK, and has completed Cranio-Sacral 1 and 2. Kim will use a combination of these techniques in her treatments to alleviate acute and chronic spinal conditions.
